Our Commercial Real Estate team is led by experienced partners, whose focus is complex development projects. We have a wealth of experience derived from working with our clients on their residential, industrial, office and mixed use projects. We provide a development life cycle service working closely with our clients as part of their team from the strategic site assembly and planning stage through to funding end user disposals and developer exits. Our experience encompasses a wide variety of projects from compact town centre regeneration schemes, to an innovative hospital scheme under the private finance initiative and redevelopment of significant regional conurbations. We are used to tailoring innovative legal solutions for specific commercial contexts and have great depth of experience in negotiating complex financial provisions for options, joint ventures and overage arrangements.

To complement and support this development focus, our lawyers are also experienced in acting for financial institutions assisting with their more complex financing arrangements. We also assist UK and international investors with acquisition and disposals and with proactive management of their real estate portfolios, where we have balanced experience in acting for both Landlord and Tenant. In this context we act for businesses as well as high net worth private investors who require the level of service expected by blue chip enterprises.

For manufacturers (both UK and multi-national) we can provide an exceptional level of experience and understanding of operational considerations relating to industrial and commercial properties and of real estate aspects of corporate asset management, mergers, demergers and business acquisitions, disposals and buy-outs.
