Jessica advises clients on a wide range of both transactional and commercial matters, with a particular focus on the internet and technology sectors.

Jessica’s experience of corporate transactions includes management buyouts, transatlantic mergers, and both business and share disposals, for clients ranging from large multi-national companies to high net worth individuals.

Jessica also advises on a range of commercial and regulatory issues, particularly in relation to technology and intellectual property law.  Jessica has particular expertise in software development and licensing contracts, e-commerce regulation, data protection, privacy and transfer and licensing of intellectual property.  Jessica also advises clients on general commercial and contractual matters such as distribution agreements, consultancy agreements, service level agreements and terms and conditions of sale.

Jessica’s recent work includes:

• Advising a French online retailer on both regulatory and commercial matters in relation to setting up their UK website including advising on Distance Selling Regulations and reviewing website terms and conditions and privacy policy.
• Advising a large pharmaceutical company on the data protection implications of medical studies across the EU.
