Towards the end of 2009 there were a number of legal developments within the absence management and disability discrimination field, and further developments are envisaged in 2010.
In this newsletter we will look at: New guidance on the meaning of the word “likely” in the Disability Discrimination Act; Advice on the drafting of medical questionnaires when recruiting; and
The Government’s proposed introduction of the new “fit note”.
